Hi all,
My name is René Vlietstra. I live in Zoetermeer, the Netherlands, that's in the midwestern part of Holland near the Hague. Iam the happy owner of a Thirdgen '88 Camaro Convertible. It has the 305 V8 TBI engine and automatic gearbox. It's almost stock except for a chrome k&N aircleaner, hypertech fanswitch and 160 degrees thermostat. It has 70000 miles on it. I only drive it in the summer. As a daily driver I have a 2001 mazda 626 stationwagon. In the summer I visit al lot of meeting of the cruise brothers (the Hague, if ever in the neighbourhood you should visit them, always around 750 american cars there, every first saterdaynight of the month form april until september), Stingray82 (Dutch Corvette, Camaro and F-bird club) and the Heartbeat Corvette club (because most of my friends drive Corvettes)

Thanks for the welcome Garry! You seem to be the only one noticing a new member joining.
I'll get this site linked to some Dutch Sites. Maybe some other Dutch F-body drivers will look into this club than.

Usually not, but quite a few members are on leave, or busy with a real life this time of the year ...
Looking forward to hopefully seeing you or some of the folks at a meeting or on the track ...

Hey, welcome to the board. I guess I should check this section more often. I guess we have one more reason to go to Holland.

Hi Rene, welcome
My wife and I have been talking about catching the ferry from Newcastle to Amsterdam for several months.
Any cheap places to stay??
You will also have to tell us when there is a cruise so we can join in.

Welcome to the board Rene. Hope we get to see you at some of the meetings in the summer. I would love to hear more about the Cruise Brothers get-togethers. Haven't done any cruising in the Netherlands yet. Don't want to take my car to Amsterdam though. I've heard to much about the theft and vandalism problems there. I do want to go to Schveningen this summer though.

Hi KC10A,
The meetings of the cruise-brothers are in The Hague. Scheveningen is a suburb of The Hague. So if you're gonna visit Scheveningen you definitly must grab the opportunity to visit a saterday night cruise of the cruise brothers. They are every first saterday of the month (form april - september) Would be fun to meet you than.
The only cruise I'm gonna miss is the july one because I'm in Spain than.
The cruise brothers siteurl is: http://www.cruisebrothers.demon.nl/
I'm sorry to say that it's onl;y in Dutch, but if you need some help translating something just let me know.
