You only have to pass vehicle insp. to be "legal". Cars from the States usually have no problems passing, especially if they are newer like yours. No changes to your lighting system of anything like that. Make sure you video your paint job when you drop it off for shipment. Just in case.

Welcome! Your car is already legal so you won't have a problem there. The only thing they harp on from time to time is it's loudness. Don't see mention of LT's and a loud mouth so you'll be fine. Not that you can't pass w/ that either because you can just go to know where to go to pass. Trust me you won't have a problem there are some loud cars here and I mean loud!
Too bad I won't have the honor of meeting you as I leave in Jun but you'll enjoy it here & esp letting the LS1 breathe on the autobahn.
Silas,

I don't have any pics with me, I am in Korea currently and my car is in Oklahoma
I do miss her though. The only thing I have done currently to my exhaust is a cut out, which I will be closing before I ship. and I do plan on taking a lot of pics and video of the paint as it is a brand new paint job.
I was asking about the legal thing because I have never lived anywhere else but america and don't know anything about import/exporting of cars. it sounds like I should be alright though.
the only thing I don't like about my car is its an auto....I know I can still
learn to road race but it wont be near the same as a manual.

Well if your wanna do Hot laps over here . The First two things you should do to your car is put the biggest transmission oil cooler and a temp guage in it . Germany takes no prisoners when it it comes to LS1's and automatics.

damn I forgot a trannycooler....well there is another 100$
as far as temp guages, I am really thinking about a in car computer and using that to moniter all my temps...
I will be getting hptuners and instead of having to carry a laptop or even
buy one I would rather just mod a computer in my car. I can jerk the
stereo while I am at it and upgrade that too...
