Hey all, just joined the forum from LS1Tech.com, as i'm over here in europe now maybe I can meet fellow F-body owners locally. I see most everyone is from Germany, but is there anyone from Italy here? I am stationed at Aviano AB, and wouldn't mind meeting other owners from this area. My LS1 is a 2000 TA, Pewter Metallic: LS6 Intake Jet-Hot LT headers Magnaflow catback ORY Zo6 Cam Z06 Valvesprings Fast Toys Lid & K&N Cross-Drilled Rotors DMS lowering springs 18" Y2K C5 Chrome wheels If anyone is in the local area (Pordenone, Sacile, Aviano, Porcia, etc.) and wants to meet, send me an email or PM. Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome. I have seen a few F-bodies on base, the nicest one being a red WS6, (reportedly) making 600RWHP with a procharger, but I haven't seen the person who drives it. I am hoping to run into a fellow gearhead locally, especially since my car is broke right now (mystery sensor problem) and i'm driving a euro-beater instead. I wouldn't mind taking the TA up to Germany (once it gets fixed) and cruising up there if I get a long weekend some time.

Welcome to the board. It is a good thing to have contacts over here.
I am not from Italy, but we are heading to Aviano to catch a cruise from Venice. We will be staying in Aviano early April. If you are still having sensor problems then (hopeully not) I may be able to help you out.

I think I'm gonna have to bite the bullet here soon and have the car towed to an Italian Chevy dealer nearby and have them troubleshoot/fix it. I's been three months without driving it and I've spent $400 on parts trying to fix it (new MAF and o2 sensors) so hopefully it will be up and running soon. If you need some info on where to stay or whatever PM or Email me and I will help set something up. Again, thanks for the warm welcome!
