hey everyone, yup another military guy going overseas. my big problem is i dont know how harsh the inspection will be to pass my car to allow it to go overseas. if anyone could help me out with some info on what needs to be on my car to get it there it would be greatly appreciated.
btw i have a 2000 camaro z28 6spd. LT headers, no cats and a lid, basic "He said POOP" but i dont want to fail and loose my chance at shipping it

Maybe 98blkbrd will chime in. He went through their inspections. If IRC you will have to rewire some of your lights to meet their specs.

Well the specs are stock , anything above and beyond that must be approve by TUEV. That is if your trying to register your car for the street.

what i mean is i read something about haveing to change tail lights(from red to yellow) and blinkers and a few other things. as long as the remaining things are stock i should be ok right.

Special permits can be a major PITA, depending on which Bundesland you are in and who you end up on the other side of the desk ... the permits I got would have run me a total of 600€ upward ... still ended up paying about half of that to get the tag ...
