Well almost anyway. My name is Brad. I met Brian with the black SS on base today and he told me about the site. I got to Ramstein in October but didn't bring my car. I bought a VW Golf and everyday I miss my camaro so I decided to ship it over here. It should be here within 2 months. I can't wait. Looking forward to having a few get togethers maybe. Here are a couple pictures

Welcome to Ramstein. Glad to have another SS in the area. I'm sure I'll see you around. I don't drive my car to work much, but you'll see it occasionally. I just don't like to let the idiots in the BX lot beat it up. Where do you work?

I won't be driving mine much either. It will be in the garage most of the time with the cover on it except for those rare sunny days. I think I have seen about 10 in the 6 months I've been here. haha I work in LRS customer service. It's a boring job but I'm the guy to know when you need help getting something.

Good to meet you. I'm glad you made it on here. Beautiful car!

By the way....like we talked about, I reconfirmed today that drag radials, window tint and Lt's straight to a closed plated Borla (98.8 Db) won't pass...LOL :dunno:

Oh, and you will have ot get a front tag mount :(

If you need a front tag mount, SLP has one that bolts on underneath. it works really well.

I saw that and was thinking of picking it up. Do you have to drill holes in the bumper cover to install it?

When do you plan on trying the steel wool trick? haha I'm pretty sure mine will pass since your's is only off by a few decibels and I only have a stock cam. Well I'm crossing my fingers anyway.

I just went non-op again today. I plan on going back on Monday to get another 30 day temp. I hope to get the steelwool in Tuesday or late Mon and get it inspected mid-week. We'll see though.

May 4th is the France show so I will be at least operational for that. May be on temp tags though. LOL.

Also, I have the SLP bracket on mine. Yes you have to have 2 holes drilled, but they are out of view on the bottom of the nose cover.

Well damn, I should have gotten the letter to register two POVs taken care of before it came in. My commander's had it for two days now and it still isn't signed.

Hey man....just go over there and register it. Don't tell them that it is your second vehicle. They won't say a thing. BTW I now have 4 cars.
