You know summit racing! They have everything. (just fun'en ya).

I do agree that you should have all of the safety equipment that it pratical for your vehicle, but using your example. 150 mph on the autobahn...What if you blow a tire? What if someone pulls into the fast lane in front of you (upgrade the brakes). What if you need to swerve to miss something in the road (upgrade the suspension) The list could go on and on until you are driving a fully built race car and then is that even truely safe?

Better get a scatter shield to. Ever see what a flywheel does to the car or your legs if it breaks free when you are turning 6,000 rpm?

accidents happen, but if you are using something that is known to be weak at best, faulty at worst and you do nothing about it, well, that says something doesnt it. BTW there is no scatter shield avail for a LT1

I am thinking about building on. Just need to find the metal. My torque arm has the mount alread and I will probably put a second on in the rear. I liked Johns setup with the dual loop.

my lakewood universal was like 19 bucks threw summit. I liked the G2 piece (kinda a G-load brace with DS loop built in) but it wouldn't fit with the trac-link.

The critical speed of that steaming POS DS that GM sold you is reached around 150-155mph with 3.42 gears. Break one at that speed and get your ass pole valted down the autobahn, and the last thought that goes threw your mind will be "Ya know, $50 wouldnt have been to much money to prevent this."

ROFLMAO!! That was the funniest thing I heard all week.
I just pictured that.
