If it is just the one try to send it back. I think shinny black looks better than chunked chrome. However do not attempt to do it yourself or your fingers will bleed. during stripping.

I looked at them today, and all the wheels are corroded. I don't know if it's the weather or what, but it looks like I'm not gonna keep the chrome!! I really think the black will look good, especially if I get a black stripe down the middle like Volker's blue. I'm contemplating that!!

If your choice is messed up chrome or shining black, the latter will be better of course ... having the chrome flaking really s@cks ... just make sure you have some contrast behind them with painted calipers ...
