Damn. I'll keep that in mind! Mine probably whines too but I can't hear it.:D I'm gonna put some redline in there when I get back as a temporary band aid. I think its safe to say though Jack you've got more high speed blasts than I do. Mine stay outta commission more than anything else.

Looks like I'll be putting some $$ into the secret squirrel fund for real now....just in case.

Yeah, I think I'll be ordering mine around the 15th of May John, so if you want to go in with me, that'll be the time! :)

JAck I don't have theactual price because it was part of the package. But it was an additional 200 bones I believe above the normal LSD.
If you get one don't be shocked by the amount of noise they make when turning real tight.

I can handle it if you can. You make a lot more tight turns than me. :)

None that I noticed, but the drivetrain would probably tell you otherwise.

I dump da clutch @ 5500 with 10 in slicks and a stock driveshaft for 2 years got a slight vibration now @130MPH. However I just ordered a 3 1/2 in custom drive shaft with forged yokes setup for 700 hapees with slicks.

I was thinking about going with the Denny's driveshaft. It is "virtually unbreakable", and if you ever twist it, or break the welds, they will replace it for free. Can't argue with a lifetime warranty! :D

I think that all your bearings are shot. The side bearings because it looks like the diff isn't centered and would explain some of the markings on the diff, looks like the diff shifted from side to side due to...The pinion bearing because the pinion gear hit the diff. The nut could have come loose as well. Was the nut ever removed or was there markings on it indicating that? How much side to side movement was there (diff)?
All I can say is sorry. :(

To my knowledge, nothing from the yoke back was ever touched! That makes sense about the diff, but I tried moving it, and there didn't seem to be any play at all.
