Just thought I would throw this up, this is the rear that I'm getting, and I thought if anyone else wanted one, then I could see if the price could be reduced. This whole housing as you see it weighs about 45-50lbs (it is chrome-moly) but a mild steel one wouldnt be more than 70-75lbs. There is no center section or axles in it yet, and obviously our axle tubes would be longer. If you dont know what it is that your looking at, this is a Fab 9 rear end. Basically a 9" with a custom housing. This along with the 35 splines, and this biyatch is bulletproof. With center section, it would be around 2k.

and just for good measure, here is the old mustang that won 10 of the 16 events it ran in last year, all heads up outlaw racing. Now it will be a streetable billboard for the shop. The 'maro is a new project. I'll get some pics of the other 2 cars soon.

no prob, not like I make a dime off of it, just thought since nobody has any issues spending 2k+ for a 9" or a 12 bolt, for the same price can get a fab 9 that will shrug off anything any car this side of a full on dragster can dish out would be a good buy.

If I had that much to throw down on a new rear, believe me- that would be my top choice, but I just don't! :(

awww, c'mon roy. That with a full spool running through a 'glide, and you would be the terror of the ring. Course your car would be down for a week or so while we put the tubs in. 8)

That's just plain sick. Wish I was in the states when I see parts like that. Maybe if I'm back next yr I'll drive down and put one in. :)
