Parts are starting to trickle in. The light at the end of the tunnel is still aways off but nevertheless I can see a dim light in the distant future.

See what 785 bucks got me? Accusump w/ the electric valve kit/switch.
10 ft of -an 10 line (my god they're huge) to think I was going to run those lines for my fuel system. I'll stick w/ 8 -an and 6 -an return instead. Man the sump is HUGE! I had no idea. Think I got in over my head. LOL! It forces me to do something I didn't want to do but oh well.

Image

Here's the billet oil adapter and billet remote filter mount. Again the pieces are slick and high quality but space is limited.

Image

Here's the elec valve switch etc. The instructions are so so so but I didn't really look at it but it shouldn't be that hard. I hate wiring of any kind though.

Image

Here's all the connections. :D Huge -an lines.......huge!

Image

And the complete setup. Hard to believe it ran as much as it does when looking at it like this. LOL!

Image

Hopefully the rest of the stuff shows up before the wkend and when the wife gets back. But she already knew but still. :D

Waiting on the Turn One pwr steering pump, Rag joint eliminator, RC 72lb injectors, dual 340 fp setup, and some other odds and ends. :D

If you only knew. Hopefully I stay w/in the budget so can buy my rear this yr. I've put it off 3 yrs in a row now. 9" was what I was going w/ but I'm gonna be different and get a Dana 60 instead. Heavier than a 12 but lighter than a 9" and virtually identical in cost if not cheaper than a 9 but stronger.

Yes I'll be ready for just about anything this yr. You or Roy got any pics on where you mounted yours? Did you either run a Accusump? Man that bugger is HUGE! I should read the dimension before buying. 22" long and OD 4". Should've went 2 qt. It's ok I'll make a spot for that sucker one way or another.

Are you back in the US already?

Wow! Looks awesome. Just what are you up to this year? Are you going to have the SRZ ready for the first Bitburg?

NX what's up my sleeve? Nothing really. In the process of parting out the 396 and got everything spoken for except the rods and crank! I guess I may just have to knock the price down a bit more to get them to sell but I sold everything under 1/2 as it is. I guess once I have pics they'll be interest in them.

I'm going back to completely stk w/ a 800 dual shot. Nah just kidding. It's hard for me to keep a secret............well really it's not but I don't want to say nothing as I haven't received everything yet. The goal is before the 1st Bitburg race but if I don't make it's not that important. But what is important is I get it up and running before Clay leaves as I will be getting lessons on how to tune a FAST XFI stand alone system.

Ask Bruce he'll tell what I'm doing. :D Tell him it's ok and I said so just keep it hush..........I'll let my Fbody brotha's know just PM. Only 2 MM are in the loop as well. But I think you have a idea. :D

My Turn One pump just came in the mail too!

Slowly but surely......................................................

John,
Neither Roy or I put in the Accusump. We both thought about it but didn't have the $$$. The remote filter we made a braket for and is in the Pass side front fender behind the turn signal. There is plenty of room for it there, as for the A-sump I'd look right behind the fans attaching it to the rad support. That's a big sump so your going to be really limited on space. If your running headers your going to have to watch your lines coming out of the block. I had the same mount as you do and the lines coming off it would not clear the headers. Roy's did but he's running a different header than I am. The set up we have is now a 9qt oil change!!! If you want pics let me know and I'll send them from the house.

Yeah shoot me some pics! Yeah I was worried about the lines and that's why I got the 90* -an to make sure. Worst case I'll extend them. My other concern was there a issue routing the remote mount so far away as I know it's recommended the lines be short as possible. Now I know since the both of you mounted yours on the pass side as I originally intended as well. 10ft of hose should be enough.

Also the sump going where you mentioned...I thought of that too but it's too big and will block the air for the rad. I did try that much. It's huge man huge. I'll put it right where the washer resevoir use to be and hang it that way. It won't block nothing then. I need all the air I can get.

Won't do any mock ups until after the 24th though w/ the lines however. Got my noise on the grind w/ the books.

So I take you are still here then?

Shoot the pics to this address. Thanks! john.silas@ramstein.af.mil

Are you putting an oil cooler on there too?? The total length of 10AN line on mine is 18ft. Do you have an oil temp gauge?? If not on the remote filter housing is a GREAT place for it :D since there are 4 holes. On mine I still have one plugged........waiting to see how your A-sump turns out then might go that route too :!: I'll send the pics tonight.

Oh OK cool. I was thinking you were leaving like yesterday. Read somewhere about you getting a house? After looking at your pics I think I'm gonna need another 10ft of hose even though I'm not putting mine on the other side but then again I may have to because I'm unsure if the IC will be in the way.

You are right, I'm in the process of buying a house in Atlanta (20mins from Road Atlanta). In fact I'll be closing on it on 22 Mar 06 and submitting my retirement paperwork on 01 APR 06!! I'll be around this entire season for racing except Jul since I'll be getting my wife & son settled in the new house. Still tossing around the idea of keeping the Firechicken here to take one last shot at King of the Hill. There's alot of heavy hitters going to be up there this year. I have done NOTHING to my ride since last year...I'm thinking I'll be at a BIG disadvantage!! Sounds like you, Bruce, Don, & Roy will be pulling out all the stops this year!!!!!
