True Bruce.... but some of us like to a little more often... I know you have to get that urge sometimes just to go out and scrrew around. But I do concur with you OSL is also a good place to race as well.

Quote: Solution: Operation Street Legal. Road Race, Auto-X and drags in a controlled enviroment. Equipment needed helmet for christmas and standard vehical safety equipment. We can make this happen guys. I support OSL also because it is a good idea?
OSL requires a helmet? I know the tracks in the states do, but it just suprises me that they require it here in Germany. It's a good idea, just didn't think they would require it.
They need to have OSL at least twice a month next summer. Hint, Hint. Are they going to have the full 1/4 next year?

Krazy, OSL will be following NHRA regs if I remember correctly, so if you break a certain barrier in the quarter you will be required to have a helmet and any other saftey gear required in the states.

Yes we should be wearing helmets. Maybe santa could bring you one. We could set this up easily. We are kicking around the idea of hiring or @ least paying volunteers and contracting food stands but the problem is if I receive money from OSL then I should not race? Let me know if you know people that would like a summer job key is to have a stand alone event for FBE participate in. Work in progress

You name the time and place. I will be there. But like you said, weather is getting more unpredictable.

So there going to have tech inspections and everything? Sounds like this is moving in the right direction if you ask me. Time to remove the lug nut covers.

I threw away the one I wrecked with. It was all scratched up and damaged. Sorry bro. You can find some pretty cheap helmets, but ask your self how much is your head worth?

Cant find the rule book, but I think its 13.99 and faster(unless its a vert), alot of you guys are going to need a DS loop (which you should have already).
Make sure you check your battery hold down also, the GM piece is alot like the other accessories, a POS.

Off the top of my head I dont remember, but think about this.
The critical speed of that steaming POS DS that GM sold you is reached around 150-155mph with 3.42 gears. Break one at that speed and get your ass pole valted down the autobahn, and the last thought that goes threw your mind will be "Ya know, $50 wouldnt have been to much money to prevent this."
