If you should want some let me know. (email) I will give you directions as to were to go and get them at the Germay DMV or post here. Their hours are limited. They can do either 8 or 9 letters, 27.50DM and I could be talked into MPSin them to you if need be.

Actually, just check at your local german registration place ("KFZ Zulassungsstelle" - check your phone book for the nearest one) - there are usually at least one or two places in their vicinity that make plates ... you can also get the motorcycle-style that should have the right width for US cars, but you will be more limited as to choice of words etc ...
