I got rid of my "nice" stock salad shooters with the tiny 215s (winter tires with no tread left, almost slicks  ) and replaced them with transam rims (thanks bruce!) and 255/50/R16 Kumho ECSTA Supras...

...and, most unbelievable: I even got TÜV on everything
(That was a funny inspection! no papers, some discussion, some kidding, 10mins, everything ready...)

Still with 225 winter tires (just had them on for "testing") - thanks to RT1 for the pic!

The castle in the background is a BIG sight of Coburg.
Ok, it´s also THE ONLY REAL sight of Coburg... j/k
(BTW you can see how misaligned my door is...that happens if you stop the VW Passat of your girlfriend who is backing up with the inside of your door...)

Yes, I also painted the calipers.
Yellow and red always make a car faster.
And don´t forget the castle in the background.

Glad you got them on there, legally. :D I like the other pics that you took better, but your welcome. Don't sell Coburg short though, there is the famous Hummel factory.

Nice looking car Chris, sounds good also.

Rob

Wow! Looks great. Big improvement. I'm sure that you'll be having fun in the turns now that you have some decent tires that grip good. Just FYI, the tires suck when they are cold. They need to be warmed up some. ( :burnout: ) Once they are warm, they are pretty good. They are also good in the rain. Just don't try them in the snow!
