Good Lord man. I am glad you are O.K. That freaking car was possessed. You did a good job of exercising the demons out of it. It was a Trans am and not a Camaro so don't beat yourself up too bad.

I seen the accident area and I am still in disbelief. It looks like a semi slammed the armco instead of a Fbody.

Well I have nad about 4 pm's about people wanting the car I will have to see. All I want is the hood and computer since my other one is a 98 and it dosent have a ram air hood. I am pretty sure the rearend is toast becuse the passanger side wheel broke off, and the tranny still had the problem with 4th. I dont even know where the car is because I had to go to the hospital. I should find out what is going to happpen this week so I will post up.

Somebody said that USAA won't accept a Gutachter (Sachverstaendiger). NOT TRUE!!!!
I wrecked my 2001 BMW 330Ci 3 days after regging it- wasn't quite a total, USAA's guy vqalued it @ 28000 Eur w/ 21000 damage! I got all but the deductible, I was @ fault!!

Are you freakin serious! I fought them for over 4 months and they would not budge. How much did the Sachverstandiger say it was worth? Mine appraised at 8500 Euros, but USAA valued it at only 3100 dollars minus my deductible of $500. That is an $8500 difference!

I had full coverage (minus deductable). Possibly made the difference. They did try to go back to the BMW dealer where I had it fixed & asked if they could find a similar carfor the amt of damage- dealership laughed at them all the way out the door! It's got the M Sport package, full leather, dropped 3cm, etc.

No, I think you are talking about something different. Mine was a total loss. The appraisal was for the value of a total loss and they will not honor that. They go off the "value" of the car in Washington because it is "closest" to the value here (.....NOT!)

Danm!!! I've always had very good service from them! Maybe they make a difference because yours is an American car & mine was German specs. If so, I'll have to be careful w/ coverage for the Camaro!
P.S. You live just down the road from me!

BTW I was told that your car is being parted out. I guess the car is now not yours? It is in Mainz-Kostheim BTW, I have seen it several times.
