Sweet! Are you going to do the work yourself?

How did you have it shipped here? Is it brand new or used?

Hey - That's a nice looking motor...

I'm interested too in how you had it shipped over! I'm curious to know what it costs, and if you did some research in finding the cheapest shipper.

I'll be doing most of the work myself....of course I wouldn't mind a tip or two from someone that's done it before (A10 :D ). It cost me 800$ to have it shipped. I've got a radiator, new fuel tank, and gauges coming. The harness I'll either attempt to rewire myself... or send to Speartech.
The engine is rated at 300 whp...might change that before installling, not sure yet.

I took my car to a hot-rod shop for the conversion, but I can try to help out. I spoke to the mechanic on a regular basis and I did a lot of research myself before dropping it off. LS1 Tech has a conversion forum and there are several 1st gen cars on there; good research board.

I'd just send the harness to Speartech. A lot of guys like them and it'll save you some hassle; the electrical parts can be more difficult than installing everything else.

I have a new 4th gen AC condenser if you're interested. Are you keeping AC?
