Well, I am definitely on the downward spiral to head stateside. Here are a few pics of my final preperations to leave. I gotta get both cars rolling to crate them up for shipment. Unfortunately, SSickneSS will never see Bitburg or the Ring. Although, with its history it might not be a bad thing. :pat:

The yellow 998cc/1 liter (yes, less displacement than your daily Mountain Dew bottle) is going in my Mini. This is how it sets now with a ground-up resto-mod steaming ahead. All welding is now complete....painting and assembly to follow. Nearly every panel was replaced. Those that weren't have been stripped of any hint of rust.

if shipping the ol' ls1 stateside is proving expensive / difficult, i would have no problem making sure it WILL see bitburg in the future :mrgreen:

If it was an LS1 I would give it to you. HOWEVER, it is a 427 LS3. So sorry. LOL.
