I Sold my 87 IROC L98 a few weeks ago to a young couple who I know will appreciate it. Sorry to see it go, but it was time. Now I can bring my 96SS Vert out of storage, bring it home and not have to pay for storage any longer. Now that I am retired from GM Powertrain, I have to cut expenses and this was one way of doing that. Funny as you get older you realize that all the things you worked hard to get when you are young, really don't matter that much when you are older. Some things are just clutter and add to the complications of life. Not that the car was clutter but it sure makes life simpler now not having it. I know they will enjoy the car, mint and only 82,437Km. I owned the car for almost five years and only put about 1,600 km. on it going to showns and cruise nights. That is my 67 beside it in the photo. It was my first Camaro and I will never sell it!!!

Both cars are very beautiful.
On a side note , in 44 days I will be retiring to. But I will be putting my skills and job experiences to work in the civilian sector.

I know what you mean. For me it's really enough "work" to care about 2 cars. I really didn't want to have 3, 4, 5 or even more UNLESS there was someone who constantly checked the cars (to keep them in perfect condition) and worked on them without me having to think about it all. And I'm not yet so old.

Hi Guys,
Yes, get rid of one car and now my oldest boy want to get a 914 or a Karmann Ghia to work on. He just finished a Puma and loves it. Still a bit of tweaking to do though.
Good luck in Retirement Roy!! I do a bit of part time work and I volunteer for the Canadian Cancer Society at the hospital, I am also a peer councillor and also teach a seminar called "Living Well Beyond Cancer". It is directed at cancer patients who have completed treatment and also their caregivers. So, I do keep busy. I am sure you will as well.

Cheers,
Tom
