WOW! I'm not so excited by the gears as I am by the T2R! That is the best mod I've done to my car bar none! The way that diff responds in a curve is unreal it felt like a totally different car. I see why the road and aut x guys wait months to receive one.
As for the gears? I can tell a difference but not like I thought though. 1st it doesn't like being below 2K in any gear, it just bucks like a steer! LOL
1st gear still exists contrary to many other 93 guys w/ the M29 tranny and 3.73.s My speedo is off but I can go insanely fast a whole lot quicker in 1st than before. The power band is literally constant. I flogged it one time just to see and I can tell a difference. Now if I can get this calibration box to work I'll have a little more data to go on.
That T2R rocks. Screw the 9" for now.

Yeah you know you are right. But I don't look at it that way. I'd be concerned if I didn't have the TA cover back there. Also when I had the axles out I counted the splines. 28 splines. It was a thick axle shaft too so someone before me had something in mind. Still no 31 spline but I'm not complaining. She'll hold together nicely esp since I don't do hard launches w/ the rear to begin with.

John, your a better man than I am, I waited since I bought the car be able to do the high rpm dumps...now that I have the 9in it's as tempting. I'm glad to hear that you got it in and like it so much, you need to have her ready to run in OCT at Bitburg!!! It is amazing what a small gear change will do for that power band, I couldn't believe the difference going from 3:42s to 3:89s. Are you going to bring it to Hock on Thrusday for a run??????? Both Roy and I will be there (wheather or not I have my new brakes on)????

John,
take A6 until you come to A61, continue on A61 (direction "Karlsruhe, Ludwigshafen") and exit at "Hockenheim". Now follow the signs to Hockenheim and/or the "F1 racecar" signs and you're there.
Ben

Thanks Ben. I know that part but for some reason I always get lost. There are more than one Hock sign w/ the F1 car too you know like if you miss the 1st one. That's where I get thrown off at. Someone leave me their cell #.
Val You gonna be up there around 3?! Why so early?

I'm going to be linking up with Roy at around 3pm on A5 just south of Frankfurt Airport then driving down there to the ring.
