anyone have any input on this thing?....it goes on the AIT sensor.....and has anyone installed a skip shift eliminator?.....we need to know where the plug is to install it.....BTW, this is for the 200 T/A....and he is going to join tonight....or soon.....thanks guys

I have never heard of a gorrilla chip. I wouldn't know what it would be either. Since all LS1 variants use flash programs.
As for the skip shift eliminator .if he paid more than 1dollar he got robbed.
Mine cost 1 DM and it been working since 98.

If it was just a resistor, $1 is too much ... there are some out there that consist of real plugs, just as used on the transmission, with isolation etc. The plugs would warant a bit higher price than $1 ... ;)
Apart from that, !CAGS is pretty easy to install, especially if you can put the car on a lift ... didn't he get some kind of install instructions with the kit?
Here's a link to install instructions for either a finished cable or just a resistor solution ... not too much you can do wrong except put it in the reverse solenoid plug ... ;)

well if he could send the skip shift eliminator back...how does he get teh $1 fix?

The $1 fix is what Garry posted ("resistor solution") and I haven't heard of a "gorilla chip" either...

ok...well he paid a little more than a dollar for the skip shift eliminator....how do you put it in?.....where are the connectors at?....BTW he is on here now....the newest member....brianterry
