95 camaro, automatic, lt1.
Right now my button on top of my shift lever is stuck in park. Having never done work on auto trannies and the interworkings, this is a tad above my head. Anyone ever experience such an issue or have a couple tricks of the trade I can use to help un-stick the button or tell me whats jamming the button?

Get a small flat head screw driver and slowly pry the button off the top of the shifter. See if the actuating lever broke. If so, just use a small cross tip screw and insert it in the center of the lever. Then push down and it should be able to move out of gear. Also remember that you have to have your foot on the brake to move our cars out of park. The cable running to the brake pedal may have come off or broken.
