Alright, i read the 190-1 form and see that we can be no louder than 74dB. Does anyone know how loud a flowmaster cat-back exhaust is? (current setup). And what would be a good full setup that would pass inspection? or should i just wait until i move back to the US in 2 years?

I'm pretty sure the requirement is 90db but they've been giving a buffer up to 95. The Flow master may or may not pass, but a lot of guys stuff the pipes with steel wool before the test and it helps.
I'd wait till you get back to the states to drop money on a new exhaust, it's just too much hassle here now.

Alright, thanks for the input, you're probably right about the hassle, mine just passed a few weeks ago, but i know someone who put a full SLP exhaust on and it didnt pass, so states it is!

i passed with LT headers, no cats , 3in y pipe and magnaflow exhaust so you definantly should not have a problem and our guys are stiff.

I failed with LT's, twin Random Tech cats, 3in pipe and Hooker Aerochamber. It really depends on how they do the test and the environment around the car.

Sometimes it's the location too. I hear Mannheim is lenient. But like A10 said it's just how they conduct the test.
