Is that Til's shop? I met him last year while I was there. Nice guy.
Are they a tuner shop? Will they work with other another tuner? Me.?
The reason I ask is I dont rent my dyno to anyone.

I reckon with F-Bodies or Mustangs being tuned isn't really a danger to their regular business, as they usually only do German cars (BMW, etc.) ... at least if it's the place I was at last year ... and Germany isn't the States, there's not really that many dynos around here ...

Sounds good. Maybe Silas can see if he can set up a time? If anyone else wants to use that dyno, let me know, and them too so we can reserve some time.
As for the Bosch shops, I agree about them having funky graphs, and a strange way of calculating hp and tq. But the guy buying the motor from me has a hook up. We used one last year. It served its purpose. Heck one of the cars I tuned last year, it said I picked up 40 hp!! I told him that couldnt be right. Its was pretty much a bolt on car. LS1 with headers and a lid.

I think the Mustang guys partly came beyond 500hp on that Dyno, would have to check on the Mighty forum for definite numbers ... I reckon Henni can give you more detailed info if you need it ...

Its just a hair bigger at 1500 HP max and a wheel speed of 200mph . This is the Superflow SF-880 awd dyno.

Talked to Bruce at Henni this morning east coast time. He has time available on the 22nd and the 29th of March. I need you guys to let me know when is best for you. I could probably do both days if theres some of you that would prefer the 22nd, and some that would prefer the 29th. I have 2 others that need to be added to the list. Rainer, who Im bringing the engine for, and one other Vette. Some others have emailed me, and if you are reading this, and havent confirmed with me or Garry, please respond here, or send me an email to confirm.
AutobahnZ06, you out there?
Thanks guys, hope everyone is doing great!!
Ed

If my car is done by then, I'd be game on the 22nd ... need to see whether I can swap my 24/7 that day, or at least have somebody to take care of anything I'd have to be on-site ...
Any word on the total cost, including dyno time?

That sounds good.
I have an email sent to Bruce at Henni for a price on the dyno rental. I'll tune everyones on the street first, to get all the lower rpm stuff dialed in, and then we'll hit the dyno, so theres the least amount of money spent on renting it.
BTW, in case none of you know (and I'm sure you dont) we sell parts. We are putting together some head and cam packages. We have some stuff in "development". We have competitive pricing on all brands. We are direct with several leading manufacturers. We have a line of our own custom cams. We keep a few in stock, and are always trying to expand our inventory. We are working on an online catalog too.
In addition to all this mess we have going on, we/I am talking with a customer over there about setting up an export/import biz for performance parts. We would like to be your source for performance parts. I know there are lots of places to buy stuff from, and the internet has shrunk the world. What we want to do is make it easier for you to get American performance parts.
We have built this business by developing long lasting relationships with our customers and vendors. We strive to build and keep these relationships by treating everyone fairly. We believe its the only way to stay competitive in a world of Super WalMarts and Summits and Jegs. The one thing smaller businesses can offer that they cant, is personal customer service.
If you read all this jibberish, thanks..........

Hey Ed, I have someone that may be interested in working out the logistics of what you are talking about. I have been trying to help him become a wholesaler for american parts, but I cannot get anyone to work with us. He is a great guy that already has his own wrecking yard and new parts businesses. I will let him know if you are interested.

I already have one guy thats interested. I need to give him first option. No use in going over there and setting up competitors.
If it doesnt work out with him, I'd be willing to talk with your guy.

I am a member there on the Corvette.de board but not a real active one. Tell me what you want to say and I will post it.

Maybe just post that I'm coming over, and post a link to our site? Dont know their rules about stuff like that.
BTW, you guys dont have sponsors on this board? We are sponsors on several now, including ls1tech, corvetteforum, and 3 of our local boards. We 'll soon be adding ls1gto, camaroz28, and possibly a couple more. If you guys are looking for a sponsor, lemme know, and we'll see if we can work something out. I'll probably be coming over there annually. Looks that way anywho.
