has anyone used these? I am going to be doing some minor wheel and tire mods, ha, the vette is in the paint shop finally and getting the touch up for the high rise carbon fiber hood and while it is in the shop, I am going to slap some 18x9.5 for the fronts and 19x11 for the rears. The only tire that is not insane crazy in price is the Toyo stuff for the sizes I need, 285/30/18 and 315/25/19.

What are these like for the street? I wanted to stay with the Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCars, but they had a 315/40/19 tire and that is way to tall. I need the extra grip for the upcoming mods.

Are the Toyos ok in the rain? Not that I will be driving in the rain much with the next round of mods, but if I do end up, will these tires be like the Eagle F1 Supercars and be real scary in the rain?

Thanks.

T1 tire is not a serious performance tire. Now the RA1 is.

Roy,

Thanks for the tip. I want to use the T1 only for regular driving and looks with the new setup, hehe. But for racing I will do the Supercar or RA's. Do they have the RA's in the size I am looking for 18/19 and what are the prices? I saw that Michelin PS2 are like $540 for one tire for a 315/19, friggin crazy.
Thanks,

Nick

PS. Private e-mail sent, good luck in the class.

Nick I have seen a E91 Wagon with 285/25/20 on the rear and there was not much rubber on the rim. I hope you do not curb anything with the 315 as I think the rim will be finished.

I think that the profile of the tires 25 is really small and yes the rims will match correctly with the size, I hope I do not experience any curb rash, so far I have been lucky with the stock tires and rims, except for the times I rolled off the track at Hockenheim, a couple of times.

Here is a link with the pictures of the rims I will be getting:
