Finally broke down and bought a somewhat decent mig/mag welder for the garage.
It is a ESS 2500
Click for specs
I was using the ESS 3000 while at the shop , welding up general purpose steel , stainless steel and aluminum.
All I can say is "Sweet !" Mig/MAG Welders have come a long way since when I went through trade school in 1982.

There is a waiting list about 14 deep now that have asked for welding services. I still have a Cossie to fix up and such plus potential jobs on the weekends. All potential Jobs would have to come to my Garage as this is a 3phase 400v welder.
