my 91 camaro rs with an 87 c4 corvette L98 was running perfect until i ran threw a water puddle in the road. it ran fine back home. tryed to start it the next morning and it started but was missing bad and stalled now all it does is sputters and trys to start, it starts sometimes but just backfires out the intake and quits i have a feeling its something to do with timing because of that but i dont know. i pulled the plugs and they were covered in fuel. i replaced the coil, plugs and ignition module. i tested and it gets spark to the plugs but every time i pull them after trying to start it they are doused in fuel. the guy i bought the car from relocated the brains under the hood and fabricated a military ammo box and put them in it. im stuck. any suggestions. thanks

Does it have a mass airflow sensor? I had similar problems with that when I had the V6 in the Firebird.
