Ok, so I just put on my SLP underdrive pulley. I have the new shorter main serpentine belt, but much to my suprise, the AC belt also needs to be smaller. I looked all over online and cant find the part number or even the size I need. Any info would be much appreciated.

Your stock belt is goodyear part number 4040420

The first two numbers is the belt group
The second two numbers are the number of ribs
The last three numbers is the length of the belt in inches. This case its 42 inches
So you need a belt less than 42 inches
Try 4040410 or 4040400 from Goodyear.

Thanks, I called SLP last night and I think I got a BS answer. He told me that the AC's are all different so he coulnt give me a part number. They could have at least stated something in the ad description, they already say you need a new main serpentine belt, why not one for the AC too so you dont find out when youre up to your elbows in grease. He said I needed a 6 rib though, I guess I should double check if its 4 or 6. I guess I can just count the ribs on the old one right? Anyway, thanks for the info.

If you can't find the right one, I'll look under my hood later tonight to see if I can find the PN# on the belt.

Ok, thanks that would be great. I think Im just gonna order one from Autozone.com instead of trying to get the people at atu to understand me when I tell them I want a shorter belt. I tried to get them to cross referance the Goodyear part number but that didnt work. Good thing the weather is cool and I dont really need the AC.
