After being informed (tnx Roy!) that nobody can reply on my post in the announcement area, here we go again ... ![]() Head on over to the trial of the new forum, play around a bit (logins are the same as here), and let me know what you think ... especially on the different color schemes/layouts ... I was thinking about using one of the ones installed as basis for a slight overhaul of this forum ![]() You may also post there, but the posts will definitely go away when I restart the forum ![]() |

*I* also informed you, Garry, but just with a couple hours of delay. ![]() My opinion: I don't have certain preferences about a forum, it needs to work and then I'm happy. Apart from that, I like the "speed" and "odyssey" color schemes. Ben |

Well, just moved everything over ... haven't updated the gfx yet, but the forum as such is active ... Apart from the new features of the phpBB3 release, I've also added a YouTube-code that allows you to link youtube-videos directly into your posts ... just use the closing code, which should result in the video being directly viewable in the page ... |

Also, if anybody has any suggestions as to additional features you've seen somewhere else, or other styles, let me know and I'll see what I can do ... |

LOL ![]() You mean instead of going to the full fledged reply editor you get by pressing either the "Quote" button of a post or "Reply" button of the thread? I'll have a look and see if there's a Mod available ... |

Here's the solution of the little quiz ... 1st gen SS: one of the regulars at Bitburg, can't remember his name, but it's a very nicely restored (and quick!) beige-and-brown car ... 2nd Z28: Glen Ward's red (some say pink) car - anybody ever hear anything from him since he went back to the States? 3rd Gen Firebird T/A GTA: another Bitburg regular, Christian Kirschbaum (guy with the tow truck) ... |
