Does anyone have a good woking one that they are willing to part with within the next couple of days? (or willing to lend out to me) I'll need them by next weekend. I'm live closer to Tauberbischoffsheim than Wurzburg. I gotta get the truck running good enough to get on the boat. I used to be able to do it by ear but for some reason it's not working out this time. Damn you Murphy!
I can pay with PayPal or whatever. I would like to try to avoid bank transfers, Garry knows why...

 Don't need the tools anymore. Turns out that if you don't cross a couple of wires, it'll run great! Can't get over how the truck still ran and drove around with a couple of crossed plug wires. :?
The damn thing really needs a posi now. That right rear tire will be worn out by the weekend. Pissed off the neighbors when I did a smokey right in front of the house.
Yes, I'm a happy camper...

I've driven the wife's GTI with only 4 plug wires (out of 6) plugged in. They mysteriously came unplugged at some point.

Hm ... that doesn't work on a 4banger ... well, at least not without noticing some rough idle ... ;) When I had trouble with my distributor on the MR2, I missed putting on wire back on ... gave it a rumble kind of sound, though
