Anybody interested in joining us for some track time around the 'ring on Sunday?
Me and a couple of buddies are taking our "superbeetles" up there for a bit of fun.
ps: the one with the BIG spoiler is mine.

I already got my kitchen pass for Sunday approved , But I got this really nasty cut on my tire from a super beatle transporter. Now I am waiting on a replacement. Well I can guarantee it won't come in till next week. It looks like it will be a little damp, that would have been awesome for some easy drifting and such. Hopefully next time.

I know what you mean Jack. Finishing up the final touches on my alt relocating kit as we speak. Came to screeching halt though. The + wire that goes from the bat to the alt is too short. Got to go to the junk yard tues and snatch some wire out of their since I don't know what guage it is.
The kit looks good though. Now if I can just find that other boot to run my wires!

I'm relocating those fugly @$$ coil packs as soon as I get back from Italy. That's why I'm starting to polish the VCs. Anyone want some fuel rail covers for an LS1? $50

Yes, the weather was absolutely wonderful at the 'ring.
However, good weather makes every amateur biker come out with only one mission in life: go to the 'ring and be a moving chicane in front of cars travelling fast. To do one better, you have to fall off your bike, lie across the track and have the 'ring closed till the helicopter come. There must be at least half a dozen of them lying in Koblenz's hospital feeling very sore. I have never experienced so many closures as today.
Am I moaning? YES!
At least BenZ28 got his ride.

Funny thing is:
Last Sunday the weather was fine, too, but there were NO closures...
And you're right it was like: drive one lap -- wait -- drive one lap -- wait ...
On my last lap right before the "miss-hit-miss" 2 cars crashed and debris was all over the place... had to drive right through it but luckily no damage to my tires...
