Would take a V6 or V8, doesn't really matter! But it has to be in good condition! :)

Jack, thanks for the offer. I might buy your car when you leave for US in April. Right now, we want a LT1-look car, the engine does not matter. It can also be a V6, coz I'll prolly swap it soon anyways.

Do you know what swapping out a V6 for a V8 means on an F-Body?
Seriously, i wouldn´t think about it, especially if you right now have the choice to buy a V8 at once.

Ok, for a daily driver a 3.8l V6 with a manual tranny would be nice, more power and less fuel than the 3.4.
Correct me if i´m wrong but the 3.8 was availabe in 96?

The 3.4 is reliable, but definitaly lacks power... :(

And a LT1/LS1 just needs a little little bit more fuel and has nearly twice the power. (different thing in city driving, though).
