Hey all...

I need an exhaust adapter to go from my Y - pipe (3") to 2 1/4" for my stock I pipe....something that I can remove when I get a full 3" I-pipe (later)

AAFES does not have one...maybe they have one down @ the KMC area.

Get a 2 1/4 pipe, and have the local craft shop expand one end to make it fit. That is too easy! :)

you think you would get it to expand that far?

Hm ... when I needed an adapter for the Jeep exhaust, a local car place (well, mainly for businesses, they carry stuff up to truck sizes and beyond) had dozens of different pipes ... with those sizes, I think regular car places will be a bit understocked ;) Check a truck supply place ... :)

I heared there is a place in Siegelbach near K-Town which is specialized on exhaust pipes and welding of such ... not cheap though.
I will see if I can find out the address again.

Nice wheater, thought I take the T-Top for the shopping tour now the battery is dead... argh!

Saw a guy in an open 'vert yesterday ... thick jacket, and most likely heater turned all the way up, as it was close to freezing ...

I think so Roy, but I haven't actually seen it done. That's only 3/8ths of an inch all the way around. :? I guess it also depends on the pipe used.

Thats as a good stretch, pipe would have to be very malleable.

You're right. It might not be that easy. I'm just trying to put suggestions out there. :)
