yep still looking for a 5.3 / 5.7 ls1 engine

if needs be, allso without ecu..

accepable price please, the 5.3's sell for $500-$800 in the states.. so 1200 euro is a bit steep for one

That's what I eventually had to do. Granted, I had about 1100 lb. crate that was flown over through BAX Global. Very good. Picked up in Alabama on a Tuesday, had it one week later at my door.

I had an '01 LS1/T56 shipped over with tons of other goodies (FULL exhaust, radiator, fuel system, complete motor w/accessories, subframe, transmission brace, driveshaft, etc.) and my shipping bill was less than $2k. It was actually more like 1,200-1,500 for the shipping alone. Not bad since I was quoted 1,200 for shipping by boat and 6 weeks....

well i guess i might endup with shipping from the states too, but 1200-1500 seems somewhat excessive, i might as well buy an engine here then , at least i can inspect it myself before buying.

on the other hand, if i could combine shipping with multiple items from other people it might be a viable solution
