Looking for a hood scoop for a '84 Camaro. Did some mods to the engine and now I don't have enough clearance to close the hood. Tried ordering one from summit, the part itself was only $168.00. But the shipping would have been $275.00 I'm not trying to pay that much just for shipping. Can anyone help me out?

I thought I replied. The guy said he wanted it, but you know that's what they all say. I actually went through the entire engine though. The only thing I found wrong is ofcourse all the gaskets need to be replaced. The harmonic balancer is damaged as well as the timing belt cover. The cam and crank are still good. I took the heads to a shop and the guy said he could hotwash them for about 300 euro. i dont have the intake, but I believe I know where a wrecked Silverado pickup is. So it's still up for grabs. I debated putting it in the Camaro, but I think that's too much motor for the Camaro.
Like I said earlier, several people have said that they're coming by to get it, but no one has showed yet.
