 Post subject: Inspection time

so it's too lud. I was wondering if anyone has the stock cat-back for 2000 camaro and would be willing to let me borrow it. Oh anyone got lugnuts? I could use one of those too. Apperntly one has fallen off

You can always stuff the pipes with steel wool, that's a common technique.

Aw man, i went to Baumholder aroound 1600 and i passed with a busted parking light... that old dude was just huimming and singing his little song and kept rolling... so no more fails (3 times) from being too low...i am good until i leave:-(

they'll fail you for being TOO low?

how far did you drop it?

got me worried about putting a 1.2in drop on the Z...

I have a stock catback for 93-97... dont know if its the same, probably not.

I have a 1.5 inch drop on it now... with the factory wheels(16") and a ground effects kit on it and it passed... Maybe i caught him on a good day but he passed it... i did do the standard German courtesies:-) Hallo, Danke Schone..Tschuss:-)

have you had issues with that before, never heard of someone failing for clearance...
was planning to do 1.2in drop with z06 18"... so hopefully it wont be too low, I dont have a ground effects kit, but I am planning on getting some Kooks, so I hope those dont drop my clearance any

They broke out a ruler under my car on the roll-on lift. My front air deflector for the body kit knocked over some wooden blocks and it was game on with those guys. But i had a 2" drop on it at the time. Vettes are normally lower anyway so i would be careful.
