I have been looking for a couple of spares , but have not been sucessful yet.

Not it's all right with the tranny in my car. :) It's for a friend of mine. Of course you could buy them new but... $$$...

Try using the Bookoo site (yard sales), there was one listed but its gone now. I also rember a guy in Bamberg parting out his 89 IROC it had a T-56 (from an LT-1) in it.

Nah, mine is back on the road again. The Bookoo sites can yield some good finds, there is a guy in Ramstein selling a ZF6 that I've been contemplating buying just because of the rarity.

There's a few F bodies around here, only 4th gens though, mine is the only 3rd gen on this post. I've refered people I know with them to this site, but it is so quite here they probably just pass by.
