I seen a silver TA today on Spang with temporary tags. Anyone know who he is? I didn't get a chance to stop and chat with him.

I saw that one today as well. I'll let you know if I find out who it is. On a side note, chief, I noticed your car has moved. Are you getting is fixed now?

Yeah man, I'm taking it in the morning to the shop. I see you all over the place now and if I happen to be paying attention I normally try to wave at the fellow f-bodies. I've been driving my blue ford focus around since the TA has been down, but hopefully that changes soon!

I'm having some weird problems with my running lights...I think I have a short somewhere because it will burn the bulbs out in just a matter of a few seconds. I've checked and I'm using the right bulbs and the sockets seem to be burned but yet somehow the lights work when I turn on the alarm. So I'm going to have them try to look for a short somewhere and see if that fixes it or not. I have got new sockets and bulbs, so worse case scenario I'll just swap the sockets out and maybe that will work. I'm also putting on new brakes and rotors.

I've got my car back and so far so good on it not leaking anymore. The mechanic told me the seal did have a good sized rip in it, causing it to leak. I just now have to find out how to fix the light issue and fix the emergency brake so it will grab sooner without having to pull it all the way up for it to clamp on. Make sense?

Glad to hear you got that part fixed! Good luck on the lights. As far as the brake goes, I took mine to Kramer's and he fixed it. It grabs much earlier now, and passed with no problems after failing twice. I tried adjusting it myself, but I think I was turning the knobs the wrong way. Again, good luck!

Kramer's is located in Speicher. As you're heading toward Speicher from Herforst, you will see a sign pointing to the left that says Housing. Turn there, and Kramer's is down the hill on the left hand side, past the Opel dealer. He fixes a lot of American cars. He changed the pinion bearings on my TA when they shelled out last year. I have heard from some that they don't trust his work, but I have personally had no problems with anything he's done to my car. And it passed inspection, so he got done what I needed him to do. He shouldn't charge too much for it. The inspection guys on base keep him busy. He hates those guys, just ask him! :)

Hey fellas, I have that Hugger Orange Z28 on Spang. I know a guy who only specializes in American cars. His name is Dirk Groeff and he is in Zell. I go to no one else around here... He can do everything. For example, he had two sahara Hummers in his shop last year to get satellite linkage and get them race ready. I have been going to him for all my needs. Get at me on here or email me at spangdahlem. G.Washington...in AMMO.
Later,
Wash

BTW ole boy in that blue Jetta is V8 hunting...he is putting 360 at the wheels and said he can hit 160mph. Time will tell...and you can't beat displacement...i'll see him one day, heavy speaker box and all!!!

I think I know who you're talking about. Do you happen to know if he is a P&D delivery driver? I worked in that building when I first got here and then they moved me out to CMS. I see your car everyday now. I work @ the CMS engine shop, just up the road from where I see your car sitting.

Yeah I know who you are talking about. He talks trash to me every time I go over to talk with some of my friends in 250. He's a cool guy.
