That reminds me of my car on a lift at Kapaun Auto Skills. They had some strange lifts where you had to pull a lever AND press a button to lower the lift IIRC. If you only pulled the lever, only one side came down... :?

Outch!

To me something like that happened the other way round... the camaro of a friend got stuck on the lift, almost on the highest position, 2 meters up in the air. A little piece of wire got somehow stuck in the thread rod of the lift :oops:
Somehow he didn´t want to hear all the jokes about that we could disassemble his car entirely and build it back up on the ground ;)
So, we spent the entire evening with moving the lift manually with a huge wrench till it spun free again...

you only got the lift down after you had it move up a little first...

Problem: somebody did not watch a vehicle with Soft Top more than touching the sharp corners of the overhead mounted heaters already.

I used to work at sembach I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there unless you have to.
