That reminds me of my car on a lift at Kapaun Auto Skills. They had some strange lifts where you had to pull a lever AND press a button to lower the lift IIRC. If you only pulled the lever, only one side came down...

Outch! To me something like that happened the other way round... the camaro of a friend got stuck on the lift, almost on the highest position, 2 meters up in the air. A little piece of wire got somehow stuck in the thread rod of the lift 
Somehow he didn´t want to hear all the jokes about that we could disassemble his car entirely and build it back up on the ground 
So, we spent the entire evening with moving the lift manually with a huge wrench till it spun free again... |

Sembach Auto Skills... you only got the lift down after you had it move up a little first... Problem: somebody did not watch a vehicle with Soft Top more than touching the sharp corners of the overhead mounted heaters already. |

I used to work at sembach I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there unless you have to. |
