thanks for the washing machine theme...

yes the bra label say: hand wash only ... and I thought machine wash is quicker and easier

ok here the story for a laugh to everybody:
yesterday I had a rough day.
besides my daughter getting into her "teenage modes" lately, and worse yesterday, I heared an irritating squeek-scratch-roll-squeek-bump-scratch metallic noise coming from downstairs.
washing machine. omg - that thing is broke... turned the programm a bit to make it finish faster before half the street asking what I am doing.
the next hour or longer I stayed downstairs in the cold to empty the water out of the german washing machine, of course it was going everywhere but not in the bucket.
after a warmup coffee break, I disconnected the water lines (breaking every single fingernail off) moved it out the corner, opened it from the back site and... found the metal round wire not round anymore of a bra stuck somewhere
yes it says on the bra label: handwash only.
I thought that was to keep the shape of the bra and every now or then getting lazy would not hurt it too much - I did not think that thing can kill a washing machine.
after another coffee break I put it back together ... more or less.
the test run with towels did work.

in future I will take the 5 minutes to hand wash those things rather to take all saturday to "fix" the washing machine by finding things don't belong in there.

yes they make these cool little delicate bags you put you bra's and panties in so that they do not get damaged in the laundry. I am sure they are good about not letting the wire out of the bra as well. Sounds like you house is back to "normal" lol.
