I have achance to get a set of HAL shocks or Bilsteins. I don't have to much time to react. I'm getting conflicting information from different companies. Thunder racing is telling me that Hal shocks are a good shock(more for drag racing) but for auto-x bilsteins are better. LG Motorsports says that Hals are the greatest thing since sliced bread and Bilsteins are ok. Hals for the rear of the Firechicken run $339 and a set of 4 Bilsteins run $325. I'm not so much worried about the cost instead more the performance and life of the shocks What do you think???

Get a set of Bilsteins that are revalved to matched your front spring rate. Either through LGM or Strano Motorsports.
For the back you can get 3rd gen bilsteins which are a little stiffer. Or go with Koni Single adjustables on the rear .
I like simple and Bilsteins are simple no adjustment shocks.

From what I have read, I agree with Roy.

The HALS are supposed to be the best drag shocks.

The Bilsteins are supposed to be best value shocks for every day use. I will be ordering mine through Sam Strano in the next week or two. Sam has advised me the fronts need revalving to the spring rate as stock Bilsteins are built for stock F-body springs.

Cheers
