It's time for me to finally install those 98+ style Brakes (12") in the front.
I already have the steering knuckles, calipers but i do need rotors, brakepads and some braided lines.

Now, i'm gonna get the Powerslot Front rotors and i want a set of pads that ofourse brake well BUT DO NOT dust that much.
Roy advised me to stick with the OEM GM pads, anybody know where i can get these the cheapest ??
Noticed that they are actually more expensive than the ones from Hawk or AC DELCO (Durastops) is that correct ??????

Also what braided are recommened, ofcourse this cheap Vengaboy is looking at the cheapest/best bang for the buck solution as i'm kinda on a budget with the Lt-1 coming this way.

Thanks in advance,

Roy, the caliper has the brake line still in it, you want me to remove it so you can see the thread ? (it's the thread you want to see right ??).

Let me know what you exactly need and i'll take a good picture.

Hope these pics help, what do you think Guido can help me with ?

What about me trading that Killer Porsche caliper picture for a 'low budget' Porsche setup, you think he would go with that ?? :)

P.s. your racing helmet should arrive anyday now, keep an eye on that mailbox.

If all goes well Roy is coming down to my home town and we'll take the SS to the Dutch Daytone beach on saturday and see if the girls are sporting some nice t....s and after that we'll go to the Cruise brothers meeting, which is kinda like the meeting we had 3 weeks ago but about 20x as big with more crazy (Dutch) people, more extreme vehicles, Blown V8 350 Motorcycles, Rockin Billy, etc etc.

If the weather stays good will have a good time on the bayooh ;)

98 Super Sport Super Stop ... hahahahaha ;)
So i assume that kit in the back improved the braking even more ???

Weather is still smoking (85-90) degrees fahrenheit and i think we'll be more than ok this weekend :)

John, like i said before at the meeting, you guys have to organise something so you can come down with a group of people (and f-bodies) and i'll see about getting you guys hooked up on the (small) Army base here for the weekends.
We can then drive down to The Haque (Dutch Washington DC) and attend the meeting.

Hopefully Roy can give you guys a heads up next week to see if this cruise brother meeting is worth attending or not.

I would be very interested in attending such an event!! I like to think of myself as well-traveled, so something like this would be one more checkmark on the list!! Let us know, please!! ;)

Today's word is 'Organise'.

You people will have to plan such a 'roadtrip' and then let me know in advance so i can take some preparations.
As stated before i could hook you guys up with sleeping place on the Kazerne here or in the worst case scenario i can arrange room in the Navy NCO lodge which is pretty damn luxury however it's not free (just 40 marks per night for a 2 person room !!! hahaha).
If you guys let me know upfront i can see about the kazerne and try to arrange that with the Lt. Collonel here who is a good chap and has the abillity to approve such an event.

BUT it's up to you guys, you WILL have to make a plan, prepare it, organise it and then let me know.

Well, you need to let us know, far enough in advance, of another such event, so that we will be able to "organise"! ;)
