Which programmer would be a good choice for an LS1? I know one is from Hypertech, there are others, too (Predator?). With the aim of general purpose adjustments, not necessarily for extreme track tuning. Which would you get?

i have the predator. The only thing i hate about it, the speed limiter can´t be killed.
The hypertech can do it.

Garry,
Are you gedtting ready to buy one?? Before you do let me know cause I have some insight for you on the Predator. I have 6 different tunes on my home computer for it. Each tune has my speed limiter set at 255MPH so it can be adjusted just not by you. I've used mine on the Hawk several times along with mine own car and it will give you the things that your looking for in a hand held tuner.

If you could just wait. SCT is about 95% done with thier Beta testing for the Chevy/X-Product line and almost ready for public release.

The SCT software has some killer options and will enable the owner/operator with a multitude of options/parameters and lots more control than any other thing out there.

Hi guys, I spoke with FastGTO a while ago about coming onto the continent to spend some time with anyone who is interested.

Basically I distribute efilive in Europe and am based in the UK, as you are probably aware its a full tuning suite with no limitations, virtually all parameters can be changed to whatever you wish. There are custom OS's for Speed denisity and coming soon for NOS. There is a thread on ls1tech.com on why efilive is the best tuning product for those interested in taking a look.

Anyway Id be keen to come by and speak/demo the product to a group of you. I also have a good range of baseline tunes.

If anyone is interested let me know, no obligation, just come by and take a look. If anyone wants a tune and doesnt like it they can keep their stock tune and not pay a penny.

If we can organise it to be held somewhere with a dyno even better.

Let me know what you think.

Regards
Richard
