I'm already running SD now ... Might check out getting just a plain bellow to replace the MAF and see next year at the track what it does ...

Speed-Density (Tune) ... basically, the MAF is dropped in the computer, forcing the computer into Open Loop mode, where it uses a smaller set of data to calculate the amount fuel delivered to the motor. In core, it's mainly adjusted based on the RPM and MAP. Dropping the MAF will make the tune dependand on the air temperature, though the variation within "normal" temperature ranges of summertime shouldn't matter too much. Extreme heat or cold would probably make AFR off quite a bit though ...
