OK here goes......

in past week or so I have noticed that ALL of my lighting *in my bird* surge.....its like some one is taking the reostat switch and running it up and down real fast but it also affects my exterior lighting as well......

What gives.....could this be a sign of a failing alternator? It was sugested that my Batt had corrosion but its a new batt and there side post not top. My volts tay steady WELL above 13volts, at least by my gauge reading.

:? :? :? :dunno:

Just because you don't have posts doesnt mean you do not have corrosion. I would clean the entire connection including the wire terminal side and see if that helps. Also, check the terminal itself to see if there is a lot of corrosion it is possible for it to go deeper into the wire itself.
