Yep i got a mail from Sam (strano) and he told me the same. He recommendet Koni and than nothing. Koni is worth every penny. But.... it is expensive!
I must pay ~ 800 Dollar for a Koni Kit, 150-200 Dollar shipping to germany and than more than 200 Dollar German tax and import dutys! That is a total over 1200 US Dollar! and that is to much!

Have you checked the local German prices? Maybe it's cheaper to buy here despite the dollar-euro rate?

to bad you don't have a GI friend with an APO you can work through cause its a SH!T load cheaper to go to APO...
I got my set-up through Sam when I was in England.
