over rev my motor? While leaving work today I was rolling 70KPH I rolled gentely on the gas to 100/120Kph, and expected it to shift when it hit 6grand but nothing I kept rolling on thinking the shift was just an rpm away but it finaly shifted at 7 1/4. the shift was not hard it kinda just slid into the last gear. I let off for the upcoming curve. Nothing seems wrong with the car but it now that I look back i'm starting to worry ... the car did this the other morning but instead of a roll I was pulling out onto the street, gunned it and it went to 7.25 and I let off before it could shift, I did it so fast that i didn't realise what i did. there was no shift. is this over reving?

I don't know what is in your motor and such but; Stock LS1 motor Rod bolts are about as strong as pencils. Not to mention if your running stock valve springs and a stock cam you were a nats ass from catastrophe.
Your trans mision sounds like it has issues, What does the fluid smell like and what color is it when you put a drop on white paper.
Did you get your rev limiter set so high that it doesn't work?

which gears is it having problems shifting into? Did you have your shift points adjusted? Its hard to help without more information. you probably know already but at WOT it will not shift into 4th...unless you changed the GM settings...just an idea if thats the range your problem is in.
