No I haven't got it fixed yet. I just got the axle seal/bearing in on Friday. I'm going to try to get it in sometime this week or next week to get it fixed.

Let me know how it goes for you and what you had to do. Where are you located?

Ramstein.....AMC Enrout MX...

Is your bearing pressed onto the axle, and the seal pressed into the housing?

I'm goint to order up a set of UMI on-car-adjustable LCA before I swap out seals agian.... I was told it aint possible but I swear my pinon is pinching my seal just enought to leak but not f'up the pinion bearing so i need to true my rear before I waste another seal.

I don't think that adjustable LCA's will alter the pinion angle. The adjustable torque arm will though. LCA's will help center the rear from front to back. I could be wrong on this though. I have a Moser 12 bolt and it has never leaked. I run a -2 degree pinion angle which is right on the limits of streetablility. You might want to remove the pinion yoke and see if it has a grooved ring around it from it wearing with the seal. If it does then clean it up with some 200 grit sand paper, replace the pinion seal, and re-install the yoke. Also, check the axle housing for a breather. It should be on top of one of the axle tubes. Make sure it is not clogged. If is doesn't have a breather then you will need to put one on it or you will never get the leaks stopped now matter how many times you change the seals.

Thnx NXZ28....I'll look but Im pretty sure I have breathers but I'll see if there clogged...... Alsoi realize the center aspect of the LCA's and I too am running an Adjt. Torq/arm with a-2 angle but what I want to get rid of is that my axle is tilted back and if you look from the side at my springs/shocks and sway bar ALL the attached points and binding as though the pumken front(pinion side) is pointing up and not level....

its hard to discribe you have to see it to understand..... I called UMI and talked to Jerry there Tech and he can't be 100% but he thinks (like I) that when my old LCA brackets were welded onto my new 12blt the shop put them too far back on the axle tubes so now the NON Adj. LCA's are pulling the bottum too far fwd plus my Torq.Arm is full out on top and full in on bottum just to get my -2 angle....yes I still have propper frnt to back wheelwell gap for my tires.....

I had a shop do it, but he said it didn't take very long at all to do it. Problem was that I didn't have the knowledge, tools, or the time to do it myself. But it's done and that's all that matters to me!!
