VFN actually makes the highest quality fiberglass hoods on the market. They make the 2 best-selling aftermarket hoods for 98-02 Camaros: the Ultra-Z and the Sunoco. All the other hoods on the market have poor-to-horrible quality, with wavy surfaces, lots of surface finishing needed, and bad fitment. VFN needs very little preparation before paint & the fitment is excellent. I can email detailed pics of the hoods if anyone's interested ...or they can be seen here at my house in Antwerp. If anyone comes here, you can also see the hood on my car - I don't know why but it looks much better in real than in photos.  By the way, the Ultra-Z hood was originally designed and sold by SLP. But SLP have now stopped making/selling hoods (including the SS), so VFN has bought the rights for the Ultra-Z and has improved it (strengthened) at the same time. The ones I sell are the ones from VFN. You can check on LS1tech.com what people say about the quality of this hood...
