Well gentlemen my car is finally looking decent. I have a new set of wheels and tires(C6 Z06 wheels in black and BFgoodrich KDW tires), I ordered a WS9 hood and it is currently on the way. When it arrives it will be bolted on and the car will recieve a new paintjob, i am keeping it black but may have it sprayed a BMW metallic black. Any suggestions? Also i have a corvette brake conversion sitting in the basement as well as a new hurst short shifter. I also have a LS7 clutch kit and eibach sportlines on the way. It's kind of like Christmas for me. Anyone want to help bolt on some parts? I am alos shopping for 4.10 gears right now. She's starting to shape up. She was a "ghetto rescue" as i call it. it had a huge stereo in the trunk and the body is scraped and banged up. I am trying to bring her back to life. She needs some love, but i'm working on it.

I understand to get the corvette brakes on it i have to trim the spindle. The kit comes with new conversion brackets and hardware. I also oredered custom length braided ss lines to work with the conversion.

Personally I'd do 373 gears, 410 is a little too much.

Army MP Is your car parked at Patton Barracks? Let me know if you need some help doing the mods. In germany, I would just use the 3:37 gears myself. later

Thanks I will just gotta get a moser 9" with a d1 procharger and a motor rebuild or a lsx replacement. The guy I'm buying it from said it was a ws6 I knew it wasn't as soon as I saw it and the guy also said it had a 405 in it but I've never even heard of a 405 a 402 or 408 yes but a 405. Does the mp guy knew if this is the original ls1 so i know what I'm doing might do a 383 on it for the procharger. It's a awesome car I just hate being lied to

So once again i get a car that has been some ones "baby" and its a piece its gonna be a project to get her to any kind of awesome standard the windows i have to do the trim has to get done. I have to fix the O2 sensors the motor is running lean on bank 1 so thats gonna be new spark plugs theres a misfire fault coming up because of the O2 sensors and the lean condition the clutch sensor is not working theres a power steering leak when you go to full lock. the voltage is erratic and i think the volt regualtor is going out the marker light is out so thats a new connector i need to put in the left head light is out. so thats my fun right now oh there is a horrible noise on cold start up like the input bearing or the throw out bearing is fucked but it goes away but yeah not impressed when i see that dude on tuesday man its gonna be a ear full. oh wait the rotors are warped they have hair line cracks in them from the wrong pads being in them so they have overheated the rotors and cracked them all around. to say im displeased is a under statement

i bought it as is i asked him to fix the window, the broken stud, and marker light before pick up which was not done. then come to find out when driving it in the rain the left head light was out. he said the service light was on due to o2 sims being on the car which there isnt there is o2's in the bungs. the alt i just saw when i drove the car home i didnt get to drive in the car just sit in it so cant really see the gauges. the misfire is so bad now when i was going to try and get parts the car was shaking like it was a stroked motor and was poor throttle pick up when trying to get the thing going. the noise from the clutch can only be heard if you have the car dead cold and hasnt been started the whole day. he said its been like that since hes bought it and its the cylinders warming up. um no i have owned three ls engined cars plus worked many and non even near sounded like that. the car wasnt washed or even vaccumed when i picked it up. ah well i got the parts ordered and hope to get this thing running how she should
