The cloyes timing chain came today, if the LS1 chain looks anything like mine, we should all go into the timing chain business. I paid 80bones for mine, and was like, wow, not much there. If I had paid the 300 for the LS1 one, I would be upset.
But its more parts man! more parts!

FWIW, the LS1 set from Cloyes is nothing more than their gears with a STOCK chain. The LS1 chain to get is sold by KaTech...I can't remember the name right now...sells for about $120 or the Aussie chain that Roy posted pics of. Looks like the Aussie one will need some mods to make it fit though.

I hear ya, kinda like that day you showed me the whisper lid you put on the, then "wife's" car.
Amazing what people charge, and other people pay versus what they get.
